Product Specification Management (PSM) enables the creation of a complete registry of the raw materials that your company uses and the semi-ready and finished products it produces. Through an easy-to-use interface you can create groups of products/ raw materials that have common characteristics and specifications. For every kind you can register the full data, its codes, any number of images, the packaging requirements, the storage and transport conditions, the relevant legislation and the existence of dangerous substances (allergens, toxic etc.).

Through the hierarchical structure of the groups, eQualSuite PSM implements an intelligent inheritance mechanism, which allows the automatic replication of specifications that characterize a group of species (raw materials, semi-ready and finished products) to all the members of the group. This way, you only input data once for all the items in a group. In the case of a specification change the software updates the members of the group automatically, saving cost and time.

For every group as well as for every item of a group, you can define an unlimited number of specifications, their upper and lower acceptance ranges and their target values. For every finished or semi-ready product you can record the ingredients and their quantities in an integrated recipe, which shows, at a click of a button, the data and the specifications of all the ingredients. Finally, you can associate the products with their suppliers, in order to facilitate the process of the ordering, storage management and the supplier evaluation.

You can attach an unlimited number of relevant documents and images and utilize the grouping of Product Specification Management (PSM) in order to organize a fully updated and easy to use electronic registry of raw materials, semi-ready and finished materials.
